***Classes are available year round as well as through artist residency***

PURPOSE, PROJECTION, POWER AND PASSION!!! Get ready to make words jump from the pages of a play to the center stage. Students will acquire techniques on to how to make reading for an audience animated and artistic while still referring to the academics of reading – fluency, phonemic awareness, building vocabulary, and comprehension. This program emphasizes the power of reading with purpose while presenting with passion. Along with ensemble work, improvisation, theater games, staging, character development, and costume accessorizing, a final reader’s theater performance will conclude this program as students take a written script
